 The 38 tents and 27 chalets are spaciously lined up along the Talek River offering fantastic views of the river and the plains of the national reserve from your private balcony. Every tent/chalet has an en suite bathroom.
The camp has several facilities and services to ensure you have a comfortable stay. These include two bars, a main dinning room, an open-air dinning area, but our favourite has to be the tree-house coffee deck from where you have a fantastic outlook over the surrounding landscape. And if it’s a hot day, you can cool off with a refreshing dip in the swimming pool.
Also available are a video room, guest lecture facilities, and a curio shop; should you need to stock up on band-aids or other medical supplies this camp also has a resident nurse and medical clinic.
At Fig Tree Camp you can also opt for a Balloon safari, which is, to say the least, a special treat. Other activities include game walks, bush black tie dinners and champagne breakfasts on the planes of the Masai Mara.
