Our guide saw the prints first and had relentlessly been tracking down the animal over quite a distance. And now we really had found it!

“Magnificent…” our voices trailed off as we looked at the big predator in front of us, no more than a stone’s throw away. Pride and exhilaration filled us all at having managed to follow the King of the Savannah and to finally see it in all its glory. I don’t think I will ever forget this moment.
