With its 480 km of tropical beaches Kenya’s idyllic coastline is a magnet for all who visit the country – just picture white sands fringed with palm trees, aquamarine and turquoise waters sheltered by coral reefs close to shore or golden sands flanked by sand dunes.
But apart from the obvious attractions of beach life, there are some very interesting, and distinctly different, places to visit and enjoy:
Learn about Mombasa’s and Malindi’s unique culture and history, see what Diani Beach has to offer, enjoy the biodiversity of the Arabuko Sokoke Forest, see Elephants at Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary, go on a picture-hunt of the rare Sable antelope at Shimba Hills National Reserve or explore the serene underwater worlds of the Marine Parks & Reserves - there is something to do for everyone.
