Lions Bluff Safari Camp is a very small, private camp, where accommodation comprises of 12 charming tents only; each perched on the side of Mashoti hill with truly stunning views over the plains of Lumo Sanctuary to Kili, the Pare Mountains and the Taita Hills. All tents are en-suite, with running hot and cold water.
Once you have had your sundowner at the viewpoint, which, we believe, is one of Kenya’s most stunning vantage points, dinner is served in front of a truly spectacular backdrop, and after your meal you can gather round the fireplace to tell tall tales and re-live the day’s adventures.

Lions Bluff is situated in the Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary bordering Tsavo West National Park. Covering an area of 125,000 acres, the sanctuary
is a corridor for elephants and an important breeding site for lions. It is home to abundant and diverse wildlife species, spectacular
landscapes, and enjoys the rich cultural heritage of the Taita people.
Three group ranches joined together to form the Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary as a way to utilize the natural resources on their land. Investing the earnings from tourist activities, the community plays an integral role in conserving the biodiversity of the area by fighting poaching and the bush meat trade and creating awareness of our invaluable wildlife.
We are pleased to see the local people benefiting from the union of conservation and enterprise and hope that Lions Bluff will serve as a model for other sustainable business throughout Africa. Your visit will help to alleviate poverty and help conserve wildlife for the future generations.
