A successful safari is the result of thorough planning and design, effective preparation, and excellent implementation.
Working together with you, we will help you create and enjoy the adventure of a lifetime!
I. Design your Kenya Safari
Your Kenya safari choice will be influenced by many factors. Air safari, road safari, tailor made or not? We offer our support and help with any questions you might have while exploring all elements that can influence the many choices you should consider when designing your dream Kenya safari.
The following critical topics should be considered when deciding on your Kenya safari:
II. PREPARATION
Before you depart on your Kenya safari we will meet at a convenient place for a detailed briefing.
We will talk you through your itinerary again and will answer any
further questions you might have to make sure you are fully prepared
for your adventure.
Packing list for your Kenya safari
The list given below is a basic indication of what you should pack for your safari holiday. Please pack in a couple of small soft duffel bags (NOT in hard suitcases), to facilitate loading in the small luggage compartments of the light aircraft that fly you from place to place. Luggage allowance, including hand luggage, is 33 pounds/15kgs per person. Your hand luggage should include your camera equipment, toiletries and medicines.
For road safaris hard cases are fine as long as they are not oversize – don't forget that all luggage has to be transported in one vehicle.
Documents and valuables
Most hotels offer save storage of your documents and valuables; there is no need to bring them on safari with you (unless you don't return to your departure point). However, don't forget to carry some cash for drinks, souvenirs and staff tips as most lodges and camps won't accept cheques or Travellers' Cheques.
Clothing
Please bring neutral colours. Remember, as there is lots of dust, khaki is always good. Camouflage clothes are illegal because they are worn by local soldiers. The best method of dress is layering. Early morning and evening game runs call for a sweater/fleece or windbreaker over a cotton long-sleeved shirt. A T-shirt or short-sleeved cotton shirt is good for mid-day. Hats are a must. Cotton or poly trousers, shorts, sneakers or comfortable hiking shoes are recommended. Evenings are cool around the campfire. Safari style jackets/vests are convenient for photographers with their many pockets for film, lenses etc.

III. YOUR KENYA SAFARI
The day of your departure has come!
You will be in our care throughout your Kenya safari and we can be contacted at any time via your driver-guide. While your safari itinerary provides an outline of each day and its activities, your guide may suggest adjustments to take advantage of unexpected wildlife viewing opportunities. Some of our most memorable wildlife experiences have been the result of following their recommendations. So lean back, enjoy the trip and keep your camera close by!
After your return we would love to meet you again for a short de-brief and to hear about your trip! So if your holiday schedule allows it we would very much want to get together after your return to talk about your experiences and favourite moments. We also encourage constructive feedback about our operation to make sure we never stop perfecting our services to our clients.
